Live Casino Hold’em Review
Casino Hold’em is one of the simpler poker games available to play. But, there’s still some decision-making and strategy to it, so it’s a game you get better at the more you play. If you’re new to poker, or perhaps you just enjoy poker games, Casino Hold’em is a great game to try out. It pits you against the dealer and uses community cards, which are cards that both you and the dealer can use to form your hands.
The game is played with a single deck of 52 cards. You place your first bet, known as the ‘ante bet’ and receive two cards. Three community cards are also dealt, as are two cards for the dealer. After checking your own cards and the community cards, you then decide whether to fold, thereby losing your bet, or double your bet, which is known as the ‘call bet’.
Should you choose to call, two extra community cards will be drawn. You’ll have to make the best poker hand from your two cards and three of the five community cards. The dealer will do the same and then your hand will be compared with the dealer’s. Bets are then paid out accordingly.
The dealer has to have at least a pair of 4s to qualify. If the dealer doesn’t qualify, your call bet is returned and the ante bet is paid out according to the game’s paytable:
- Royal flush:100 to 1
- Straight flush:20 to 1
- Four of a kind:10 to 1
- Full house:3 to 1
- Flush:2 to 1
- Straight or lower:1 to 1
If the dealer’s hand qualifies, your hand has to be better than theirs for you to win. In this instance, you win both the ante and call bets in accordance with the paytable.
There’s also a side bet, the AA Bonus, you can place. This optional bet pays out depending how good of a poker hand your two cards and the first three community cards are. If you flop a royal flush, you get paid 100 to 1.
So if Casino Hold’em sounds appealing to you, why not get some practice in? Most casinos offer demo play, which is a free to play version. These are ideal for testing the waters without risking any real money. Once you’re used to how the game works, you can take your gambling experience to the next level and try live dealer versions of the game. But first, continue reading our live Casino Hold’em review to find out more about this exciting game.
Live Casino Hold’em Bonus
If you’re keen to find some live Casino Hold’em bonuses, it’s deposit bonuses you want to look out for. These bonuses typically offer you bonus money (some may offer just free spins or a combination of bonus money and free spins). More often than not, you’ll be able to use bonus money on pretty much all of a casino’s games, including its live ones.
Most casinos offer some bonus money to new players when they make their first-real money deposit. You may also be able to claim some bonus money as part of a limited-time or ongoing promotional offer. Be on the lookout for special offers as they’re worth taking advantage of.
Live Casino Hold’em Dealers
Part of the reason why live casino games are so popular is because they replicate the land-based gambling experience. You can take part in real-life versions of your favourite table games without even leaving the house. These games make you feel as if you’re in a casino sitting at the table and joining in with the game.
One of the ways in which game developers make live games immersive is by having real-life dealers. Their job is simply to keep the game running smoothly and keep all players involved, ensuring that everyone who’s taking part is having an enjoyable and worthwhile time. When you start playing, you’ll see that live Casino Hold’em dealers are a key part of the experience - they’re professional, entertaining and always keen for everyone to have fun!
Live Casino Hold’em Casinos
As previously mentioned, Casino Hold’em is readily available to play at many online casinos. You’ll find live versions of the game at a good number of casinos as well. It’s not as common as live blackjack or live roulette just yet, but there are still more than enough options open to keen players.
When looking for a casino to play at, you should be looking for more than purely the live Casino Hold’em games. Make sure the casino’s safe and reliable, and that it has things like good customer service, plenty of other games and enough bonuses to make signing up worth your while. It’s also convenient if a wide range of payment methods are accepted and withdrawals are fast and hassle-free.
Live Casino Hold’em App
Many online casinos that have live versions of Casino Hold’em have their own app. Casino apps are usually compatible with both iOS and Android devices. If your handheld device uses one of these two operating systems, you’ll be able to download the apps either through the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play (for Android devices).
There are quite a few live Casino Hold’em apps to choose from. When it comes to choosing one, it’s a good idea to compare a few and see what features they have to offer. Some might have more games, while others may have better promotions and bonuses. You should also double-check to make sure the app is fully licensed and that everything about it is above-board.
Live Casino Hold’em TV
Live casino games are mostly available at online casinos, though there are some TV shows with live games you can take part in. There aren’t as many such shows as there are casinos, though it can still be worth finding one to take part in. If you’re a fan of live games, why not take part in a live casino hold’em TV game?
These TV games offer a different sort of gambling experience. You take part either over the phone or online, with the game proceeding in pretty much the same way as usual. If you haven’t tried out these games before, make sure you do because they’re definitely worth a go.
