Evolution Gaming has secured a license to enter the South African gambling market. The company announced via a press release that they had acquired a National Manufacturer licence from the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.

The license means they can now deliver their live dealer products to South African operators. This includes content from their recent acquisition Ezugi, who already operate in the region.

Martin Carlesund, Group CEO at Evolution said:

We are delighted to have received this licence and look forward to opening up our world-leading live dealer games portfolio to operators and players in South Africa

Mr Carlesund said that their live dealer products will be available on desktop, mobile devices and in betting shops. He also commented on the strategic acquisition of Ezugi and their experience in the region.

Kfir Kugler, CEO and founder of Ezugi, commented:

There is long-term potential in the regulated South African market to deliver Evolution-powered live dealer games and fixed odds solutions to operators and to bring players the most entertaining live games and live Game Show games available in the world, alongside exciting new betting products.
