Playtech signs exclusive deal for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? - new live dealer games coming soon.

Leading gambling technology company Playtech has signed a deal with Sony Pictures Television to use the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? brand. The partnership will result in new live casino games across Playtech's live casino channel.
The deal, signed for five years, will see Playtech and SPT collaborating on games inspired by the classic game show. Playtech plans to develop three bespoke games using the brand - and it has already confirmed that they will be live game shows.
What is Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? is a global TV game show brand where a contestant answers various trivia questions of increasing difficulty.
With each right answer, the contestant will climb higher up the prize ladder. The ultimate goal is to answer all questions and win the £1,000,000 cash prize.
During each game round, the contestant is free to use a "lifeline", which could involve phoning a family member, using a 50:50 or asking the audience.
Game Features
No features or gameplay have been revealed from the new Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Live Game Show. But the game could draw inspiration from Playtech's recent live game shows - like Deal or No Deal: The Big Draw.
The iGaming game developer has plenty of material to draw from - including lifelines. During the lifetime of the show - there have been 12 different lifelines used.
Prizes for the game are also unknown - but multiplier payouts and a jackpot element could feature.
