Heading to Las Vegas for the first time and wondering which is the best casino hotel? Casino hotels not only offer some of the best table games and slot action, but you can stay at the venue and experience some of the many other wonders on offer. Here are a few of the best to get you started.

1. Caesars Palace

One of the most well known, and for a good reason, Caesars Palace has been a feature of Las Vegas since it was established in 1966. Most famed for being one of the last remaining Rat Pack haunts, the venue has seen some action over the years. Evel Knievel jumped his motorbike there in 1967, there have been some of the best prizefights in history, and you will always find a star in residence. With current names like Elton John, Rod Stewart and Celine Dion, you will find plenty to entertain you during your stay, oh and of course the casino is first rate and one of the best in the world.

2. Bellagio

This is a show-stopping venue that literally stops traffic on the Strip. The giant fountains continually offer the best water show in the area and tourists cannot help but stop and stare. It was opened in 1998 and has been one of the most jaw-dropping casino hotels ever since. Every venue has its own unique selling points, and a stay at the Bellagio not only affords you some of the best casino play in the land, but also the fantastic Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens where you can watch the seasons change and the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art. The poker room not only boasts 40 tables but artwork titled The Game painted by LeRoy Neiman.

3. Red Rock Resort

Ok, so this one is not on the Strip, it is a few miles out, unsurprisingly as the name suggests, nearer to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, and it well worth booking a room. This venue stands out thanks to the stunning design which is presented in burnt orange and crimson and features 3.1 million Swarovski crystals which hang around the site is a 99-mile string. The venue has a 7,000 seat amphitheatre (outside of course), and this attracts some great acts, including the pool concert series which is massively popular.

4. Venetian-Palazzo

As you might have guessed there is something of an Italian theme going on here, more specifically a recreation of the canals of Venice with authentic gondoliers transporting you through the stunning waterways that run alongside many features including the Grand Canal Shops and the Vegas St Mark’s Square. Here you will also be able to experience some of the best shows including Phantom of the Opera, Jersey Boys and the ever popular Blue Man Group. If you are a sports fan, you need to check out Lagasse’s Stadium with the most exceptional sports book in the whole of the region, and you can watch your favourites sports while chowing down on the best banana creme pie and many other delicacies.
