Speed Blackjack is a live dealer blackjack game developed by Evolution. It's the fastest game of blackjack on the market - and it's all thanks to an innovative dealing method. Instead of dealing by a set order - players receive their cards on a first-come, first-serve basis. All players will receive their first two cards normally - but all players are then offered the chance to Hit, Double Down or Split. Whoever makes the decision first - receives their cards.

Speed Blackjack Rules
Here are the rules of Speed Blackjack:
- Played with 8 deck shoe
- Vegas rules - dealer receives two cards
- Dealer stands on 17 (Hard and soft)
- Double down offered on first two cards
- Split any pair - split Aces receive one card
- Dealer will peek for blackjack - insurance also offered with 2:1 payout
- If player times out auto decision is made: hit on hand of 11 or lower, stand on 12 or higher
Gameplay
The most attractive aspect of this game is the speed. Every game round is blinding fast, lasting no more than 20-30 seconds, making it the fastest blackjack game available on the market.
This breakneck pace ensures that players can squeeze in hundreds of game rounds per hour. Granted, luck is still a prime factor here. But it's hard to ignore the attractive 0.5% house edge.
However, there is a lack of social elements - which are put aside in favour of faster betting rounds.
Speed Blackjack Side Bets
Perfect Pairs: This extra bet pays if you are dealt a pair. There are three kinds of pairs you can match: Perfect Pair, Coloured Pair and Mixed Pair - which pay at 25:1, 15:1 and 5:1 respectively. This bet is separate from the main game.
21+3: This side bet not only takes your two dealt cards into account but also the dealers up card to form a three card hand. The best outcome you can get with this bet is the suited trips which pay at 100:1.
This would involve not only having a perfect pair - but also the dealer to have an additional matching card. Once again, this bet is separate from the main game.

Now for the million dollar question: do we recommend Speed Blackjack? In execution, it's a great idea - especially if you are privvy to all the existing strategy.
However, the game is not so good for beginners. Newer players may not be able to keep up with the pace, leading to some erroneous decisions.
