Play’nGO continues its ‘Rock Series’ with Helloween, a slot inspired by the music of its namesake, a German heavy metal band but with a softer, more colourful side. 

There’s plenty of action, with guitar-strumming pumpkins, hobgoblins, and headbanging hits from the Helloween back catalogue. There are eight bonus features and you can win up to 5000x your initial bet.

You can play from as little as 0.10 coins to 100 coins per spin, and use the arrow buttons to adjust your bet. You can also use the auto spin function for up to 100 spins a time. It’s easy to play and everything is geared towards triggering the bonus wheel.

You need to land a scatter on reels one, three, and five, to trigger the Keeper of the Seven Keys feature wheel. Here, you can trigger one of the bonus features (described below) to significantly increase your payout.

There are eight rocking bonus features:

I’m Alive: The pumpkin wilds stay in place and expand. Once you fill a reel with these symbols, that reel will disappear on the next spin.

Future World: When the Future World lands on the grid, it expands to fill the entire reel, giving you the chance to land better win combinations.

Eagle Fly: A pumpkin wild symbol will fly onto the reels after each spin. The wild stays put through the free spins rounds but changes position on every subsequent spin.

Dr. Stein: One low-value symbol (9- A) is randomly selected per spin, to change into a wild, boosting your chances of making a winning combo.

March of Time: Any pumpkin wilds that land will shift one place to the left on every extra spin, vanishing once they hit the first reel.

I Want Out: Any pumpkin wild symbols that land will expand to 2×2 their size.

Helloween Free Spins: You’ll start with seven spins and scatter symbols will emerge as you spin. Landing three scatters activates the Keeper of the Seven Keys feature wheel, giving you the chance to play any of the seven bonus rounds, including the free spins round.

Helloween Multiplier Bonus Feature: There is also an extra bonus feature that can be randomly triggered at the end of any of the above, boosting your wins with a 2x, 3x, 5x, or 10x multiplier.

The design is a little bit macabre, in keeping with the band’s aesthetic, with red-eyed pumpkins and hands with claws. However, it’s also colourful and other symbols include a hooded fortune teller, a gold pumpkin-engraved ring and multiple floating golden keys, as well as the usual lower-paying playing card symbols. Eagles fly across the screen, and the whole thing is soundtracked by Helloween hits.
