Happy Halloween Slot Review

Another of Play’nGO’s Halloween-themed Slot, this is a fun take on trick or treating at a haunted mansion, complete with a cast of Halloween characters. You can have up to 50 pay-lines and there’s 1000x your stake up for grabs, so, enter all ye who dare! 

You can activate anywhere from 1-50 pay-lines and select your coin range from 0.10 to 0.40. Then just hit ‘Spin’ or use the ‘Auto’ button.  The carved pumpkin is the wild and will substitute for any other symbol apart from the witchy scatter. ‘Noose’ the phantom haunts the reels and will stack up on any reel to create more wins. 

The flamed haired witch scatter will pay out 4x for three-of-a-kind and will also activate the free spin feature. You can get low payouts for landing matching symbols in the main game, but really you’re playing to get to the free spins round.

There are two bonus features:

Free Spins: you will be granted 10 free spins for matching three witch scatters. During each spin, wilds will land stacked on reels two, three, four, and five. New wilds which land will add themselves to the stacks to help create bigger payouts. You can retrigger this feature only once. 

Gamble: After any win, you can double or even quadruple your winnings by guessing the colour of the card about to be drawn. You can play up to five times, but if you get it wrong you’ll lose your winnings and be sent back to the main game.

Orange and purple are the dominant colours here. The graphics are fun, with a whole gaggle of Halloween characters, from Frankenstein’s monster to a mummy, witch, evil-looking pumpkins, poisoned apples and more. There’s also creepy ‘Haunted House’ organ music, wailing and other ‘terrifying sounds to help create a sense of unease.

There are plenty of small wins on offer here, but with scarily high volatility, you need to watch your step when choosing your coin value and bets per line. As long as you keep your wits about you, there’s plenty of Halloween fun to be had here, with a very decent RTP of 96%.
