Pragmatic Play increases live-casino production to capture a growing share of interactive gaming.
Pragmatic Play has announced a major expansion of its live-casino production facilities in Bucharest and Sofia to meet surging operator demand for live-dealer content across Europe and Latin America.
The new capacity includes upgraded streaming infrastructure, multilingual dealer training programmes, and additional floor space for new table games scheduled to launch in early 2026.
The decision follows a 30 per cent year-on-year increase in operator integrations of live-casino products, driven largely by new markets opening in South America and stronger mobile connectivity in Eastern Europe.
Live Casino has become one of Pragmatic Play’s fastest-growing verticals, now representing an estimated quarter of its total gross gaming revenue.
Paul Dever, Chief Executive Officer at ARRISE, said:
We are very proud to unveil this new studio – a cutting-edge facility that goes far beyond premium live casino content. With localised games, native-speaking dealers, flexible branding options, and full regulatory alignment, it stands as a clear example of our commitment to helping operators deliver truly authentic, player-centric live casino experiences across Latin America.
Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Play, said:
This new live casino studio in Colombia represents a major milestone in our native content expansion strategy across Latin America. We’ve long recognised the immense potential of the region and remain committed to delivering premium, localised experiences tailored to the needs of each market. By working closely with our trusted operator partners, we aim not only to support their growth with best-in-class content, but also to continue expanding our presence and forging new, impactful relationships throughout LATAM.
The move places Pragmatic Play in direct competition with established live-dealer leaders such as Evolution Gaming and Playtech.
Analysts suggest that wider adoption of high-speed 5G networks and player appetite for “real-feel” entertainment are reshaping the economics of casino content, shifting revenue away from pure RNG slots.
For investors, the expansion underlines a broader consolidation of live-dealer supply, while for regulators it highlights new oversight challenges in staff welfare and localisation. For operators, the additional capacity promises faster content delivery, more language options, and enhanced regional coverage.
