  • Gamdom's Seeding Event covers Crash, Roulette and Hilo with provably fair verification.
  • Games use one million SHA-256 hashes and public seeds for transparency.
  • Crash, Roulette and Hilo will relaunch after Bitcoin block #974,533 is mined.
Learn more about Gamdom's new 'Seeding Event' where you can discover more about the casino's provably fair technology. We'll tell you what you can look forward to, and which games apply.

Gamdom Launches Provably Fair Seeding Event for Crash, Roulette and Hilo

The team at Gamdom is giving you a closer look at the technology behind three of its popular games with a new Seeding Event covering Crash, Roulette and Hilo. The casino has generated a chain of one million SHA-256 hashes for each game and published the starting seeds, allowing the results to be independently checked.

There's a little wait involved, though. The event uses the hash of Bitcoin block #974,533 as the client seed, and that block hadn't been mined when Gamdom announced the event. The three games will remain offline until the block is mined and the new seed can be established.

How Does Gamdom's Seeding Event Work?

The event revolves around provably fair technology, which lets you verify that game results haven't been manipulated after the fact.

Gamdom has generated a chain containing one million SHA-256 hashes for each of the three games. These cryptographic hashes form part of the process used to determine and verify game outcomes.

The client seed is linked to Bitcoin block #974,533. Because the block hadn't yet been mined when the announcement was published, its eventual hash provides an external reference point that wasn't known in advance.

There's one important detail: only block #974,533 on Bitcoin's main chain will count. If a competing block is mined at the same height but becomes an orphan, its hash won't be used for the event.

Gamdom has also published the following public seeds:

GamePublic seed
Crash965d3f983cc3616c6e9504c79214d73a20db88b1d8eb04f8dbd02b3b54e50533
Roulettea3259bcf0897dc8f8da61fb34e61256c4d1d3e7aac996e9268c06d78d306fb9a
Hilo7d34cf09854222741b517b0c7ded57d45ce807a5b90e36ffb99397461c6c91d7

Once the relevant Bitcoin block has been mined, Gamdom can use its hash as the client seed and bring the three games back online. Players can then use the published information to check the fairness of the results.

When Will Crash, Roulette and Hilo Be Available Again?

There's no fixed restart time to work with, as everything depends on when Bitcoin block #974,533 is mined. Gamdom has confirmed that Crash, Roulette and Hilo will return after that happens.

Using an external blockchain event as part of the seeding process adds an interesting layer of transparency. Rather than relying solely on information generated internally by the casino, the event uses a publicly observable Bitcoin block hash as its client seed.

If you're waiting to get back to one of the three games, keep an eye on Gamdom's official channels for confirmation that the block has been mined and the games are available again.
