Pragmatic Play’s Multiplier Roulettes Explained
Pragmatic Play has taken roulette in a rather different direction, building a range of multiplier tables where a lucky number can trigger a payout far beyond the usual 35:1 straight-up win.
The range now stretches from a 500x maximum on Mega Roulette all the way to 10,000x on Gates of Olympus Roulette, but there are some important differences to understand before you pick your table.
Pragmatic Play’s Multiplier Roulette Family
The brand's multiplier roulette range started with Mega Roulette in 2021, followed by Mega Roulette 3000 in 2025 and Gates of Olympus Roulette in April 2026.
While all three games use a single-zero European wheel, the way they handle straight-up numbers is where things get interesting.
Each table features special numbers that can trigger enhanced payouts, but the bigger the potential multiplier, the more your standard straight-up win is reduced.
That's something worth knowing before you sit down to play, particularly if you regularly bet on individual numbers.
Outside bets are treated differently. Red, black, odd, even, dozens and the other outside options use standard European roulette payouts across all three games, so the differences between the tables really come into play when you place a straight-up bet.
| Game | Plain Straight-Up | Max Multiplier | Straight-Up RTP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mega Roulette | 29:01:00 | 500x | 97.50% |
| Mega Roulette 3000 | 19:01 | 3,000x | 97.50% |
| Gates of Olympus Roulette | 20:01 | 10,000x | 97.30% |
Mega Roulette: The Original Multiplier Table
Mega Roulette is the starting point for the range and offers the most modest maximum multiplier of the three, at 500x.
Each round can feature between one and five Mega Lucky Numbers, with multipliers ranging from 50x to 500x.
There is a trade-off if you land a regular straight-up win, though. Instead of the standard 35:1 roulette payout, a plain winning number pays 29:1.
That makes Mega Roulette the least dramatic of the three when it comes to the potential multiplier, but it also gives you the highest ordinary straight-up payout of the trio.
Mega Roulette 3000: Taking Things Up a Notch
As the name suggests, Mega Roulette 3000 pushes the potential multiplier much higher, with wins of up to 3,000x available.
You can see up to eight Mega Lucky Numbers in a round, with multipliers ranging from 50x to the headline 3,000x prize.
There's a bigger catch when your number wins without a multiplier, though. A standard straight-up win pays just 19:1.
That might look like a dramatic reduction compared with conventional roulette, but the idea behind the game is that more of the potential return has been shifted towards its multiplier features.
The straight-up RTP remains 97.50%, according to Pragmatic Play's rules.
Gates of Olympus Roulette: Bringing Slots to the Wheel
If you've played Gates of Olympus, you'll probably recognise some familiar ideas in Pragmatic Play's most ambitious roulette game.
Gates of Olympus Roulette combines multiplier roulette with a slot-style bonus feature, taking the maximum potential win all the way to 10,000x.
There can be up to seven Lucky Numbers per round, with standard multipliers ranging from 50x to 250x. A Super Booster can then increase these to as much as 2,500x.
But that's not the biggest feature.
Land on the Bonus Number with a straight-up bet and you can enter a 15-spin Gates of Olympus bonus round, where the potential win rises to a huge 10,000x.
It's worth paying attention to how you land on the Bonus Number, though. A straight-up bet is required to trigger the feature — a split bet on the number doesn't count.
The ordinary straight-up payout is 20:1, while the straight-up RTP is 97.30%, falling to 96.62% at the maximum stake when big wins reach the payout cap.
What Happens to Your Straight-Up Payout?
The easiest way to understand the difference between these games is to look at what happens when your number wins without triggering a multiplier.
On a standard European roulette wheel, a winning straight-up bet returns 36 units, including your original stake.
Mega Roulette pays 29:1 on a plain win, while Mega Roulette 3000 and Gates of Olympus Roulette pay 19:1 and 20:1 respectively.
In other words, the bigger multiplier games put more emphasis on their special features. You give up more of the traditional straight-up payout in exchange for the chance to land a much larger multiplier.
That distinction probably won't matter as much if you're sticking to red, black, dozens or other outside bets, since those wagers retain their standard European roulette payouts across all three games.
Which Pragmatic Play Roulette is Right for You?
The best fit really depends on what you want from your roulette session.
If straight-up numbers are your favourite bets and you prefer a higher ordinary payout, Mega Roulette offers the smallest reduction while still giving you access to multipliers of up to 500x.
If you're more interested in chasing a much bigger multiplier, Mega Roulette 3000 takes the ceiling to 3,000x, although you'll need to be comfortable with the 19:1 payout on a standard straight-up win.
Then there's Gates of Olympus Roulette, which takes the concept furthest. Alongside multipliers of up to 2,500x on the main wheel, the Bonus Number can launch a 15-spin slot round with a potential 10,000x win.
