How to play Ultimate Sic Bo
If you have played Sic Bo, you should have no problems, as Ultimate Sic Bo is played the same way. Three dice are shaken and then come to rest in a purpose-built glass dome. The game's aim is to bet on which number will be facing upper wards once the dice have stopped moving.
You will be given 20 seconds at the start of each game to place your bets, from 0.5 coins to 2000 coins. Once the betting time ends, the multipliers are selected and applied to the game board.
The dealer then starts the dice shaker and leaves it to shake up the dice in the dome. After the shaking stops, the uppermost numbers displayed on each dice are calculated, and the total is applied to the game grid. You will see the winning positions highlighted and the players who have placed those bets will receive their payout.
How to win Ultimate Sic Bo
Some of the base payouts have been reduced to pay for the multipliers. Those that haven’t changed represent the best value.
There are some strategies you can try, but you still need to be lucky to scoop a significant payout.
In this game, the special features are the different types of bets you can place and the maximum multiplier that can be applied. The multipliers are assigned from within a range, up to specified maximum values. Even money bets don’t qualify for multipliers. The lowest multiplier is from 2:1 to 19: 1 on the Double Single Bet, while the maximum 999:1 multiplier only ever appears on the Triple bet position.
You have the option to bet on almost any outcome from the three dice shaken. The bets are as follows:
Even money bets - based on the cumulative total of the three dice, these bets are win or lose
One dice total - betting on one dice being yours. You can get an enhanced payout if two or three are rolled
Two dice combinations - any combination of two of the dice that are not doubles
Three dice cumulative totals - choose a number between four and 17 and cross your fingers that the total matches. Be aware that these carry lower multipliers
Triples - All three dice with the same number
Doubles - Two dice with the same number
Road Map and Game Statistics
You can view the results of the last ten rounds of the three dice being rolled. You can also see between 15 -100 results of the Big/Small and Odd/Even results presented as a roadmap.
Design & Theme
As in many Asian games, red and gold feature heavily here. The screen is dominated by the live studio feed, where the red and gold-clad live dealer sits at the table and the dome shaker does its thing. The dice are also red. You can also see all the possible bets and multipliers at the bottom of your screen. A disappearing green line shows you how much time you have left to place your bets.
An autoplay feature to allow you to repeat bets would have been a nice addition to the game but it’s still fun to play and easy to get to grips with. The paytables are in line with competitor versions of live Sic Bo, and the studio is attractive and doesn’t distract from the game. The main draw, of course, is the 1000x multiplier but you can also get value for money with multipliers on smaller bets.
