Quantum Roulette Review
Quantum Roulette fuses RNG multipliers into a classic single zero roulette format. The WhichCasino team give their honest review - and show you where you can play.
Quantum Roulette is an RNG powered live dealer game developed by Playtech. It's the first game in their Quantum series - and rivals Evolutions popular Lightning series of games. On each game round, up to 5 single numbers can receive a multiplier between 50x and 500x. Two random events can happen once multipliers have been assigned, including the Quantum Leap event, which doubles or triples the value of multipliers. The addition of multipliers means this live dealer roulette game can pay out far more than its rivals. However, standard single number pays take a hit to pay for these lucrative multipliers. Thankfully, the design doesn't detract from the presenter or the gameplay.
How to play Quantum Roulette
Quantum Roulette is played on an automatic single zero roulette wheel. There are three main phases of the game:
Betting Phase: First, you will need to place your bets by tapping or clicking on the betting mat. To qualify for the Quantum numbers, you will need to place single number bets. Bets on the outside will not qualify for the RNG multiplier.
Multiplier Phase: Once all bets have closed, the game will start. The backscreen will display up to 5 random numbers complete with multipliers ranging from 50x to 500x. All numbers with the multipliers will receive an enhanced prize.
Results Phase: Whichever pocket the ball falls into is the winning pocket. All bets will now be paid out and the betting round will begin once again.
Quantum Multiplier
The main USP of Playtech's popular roulette game is the chance to win a multiplier prize. On each spin, five numbers can receive a boosted multiplier.
After numbers have been selected, two random events can take place:
Quantum Boost: Additional 50x added to multiplier
Quantum Leap: Double or Triple value of multiplier
How to qualify: You must bet on single numbers, ranging from 1 - 36. Bets on the outside, red/black, odds/evens etc will not qualify for the prize.
The multiplier is selected by an RNG algorithm, meaning both the choice of number and multiplier are random.
Due to this, it's impossible to determine on which number you should bet.
Quantum Roulette Verdict
Quantum Roulette is a compelling rival to Lightning Roulette. While both games are similar, Playtech's table edges due to the studio design - and the multiplier boosting Quantum events. It's a more exciting betting experience overall - especially if you stick to single number betting strategies.
