PowerPlay Jackpots Explained
Playtech has revealed a brand new jackpot network: the PowerPlay Jackpot suite. The new jackpot feature adds three new progressive prizes to existing Playtech games. This short article will show you how to win the jackpot and all the eligible PowerPlay slot games.
How to win the PowerPlay jackpot
Select games now come with the PowerPlay Jackpot feature - which adds three jackpot prizes. Here are the details of each jackpot:
Mega: The largest of the three jackpots - pays out randomly on any player spin.
Peak: The medium jackpot pays out when the pot reaches £3,000 in value.
Mini: The smallest of the three jackpots pays when the pot reaches £200.
While any value spin can trigger a jackpot prize - it's worth noting that larger bets do increase your chances. By betting the maximum, you give yourself the best chance of winning a jackpot.
The three prizes can only be won during base gameplay - which means they won't drop while you are in a bonus or free spins feature.
To pay for the jackpots, a contribution of each bet made will be added to the prize amount.
PowerPlay Jackpot Games
At launch, six games include the progressive feature. Each of these slots can pay out a jackpot on any random play. Here are all the games that qualify:
- Book of Kings
- Better Wilds
- Blazing Bells
- Egyptian Emeralds
- Tip Top Totems
- Djinn of Storms
More games will likely be included in the PowerPlay Jackpot suite with future updates. Playtech has previously expanded on the Age of the Gods and DC jackpot networks by adding more titles.
How does PowerPlay compare
Playtech now offers several jackpot networks/game series - including Age of the Gods, DC and the Kingdoms Rise slots.
The difference between the networks is that PowerPlay feels more like a daily jackpots feature.
For starters, the Peak and Mini pots trigger at relatively small pot sizes. With this in mind, casual players searching for a quick win may gravitate towards these games.
The Mega PowerPlay feels more in line with a serious jackpot - only triggering at random after millions of bets.
Big prize hunters will aim for that prize, where casual players will try for the smaller pots. It's a good balance and a unique entrant to Playtech's jackpot products.
