How to play Big Bad Wolf Megaways Slot
You can play the game for as little as 0.20 coins up to 100 coins per spin, adjusting your bet using the arrow buttons. Then just hit spin or autoplay. The grid now has six reels and one horizontal bonus one above. Unlike in the original, the wolf is the highest value symbol, followed by the three red pig, then his brothers. Other symbols include a pitchfork, an axe and a trowel, as well as the usual J-A playing card symbols.
How to win Big Bad Wolf Megaways Slot
The tumbling reels mean every time you land a win, the symbols will blow away, allowing potential new winning combinations to be created. You may get several winning combinations from one spin. The toolboxes are the normal wild, replacing any other symbol on reels two-four, and there are ‘piggy wilds’ too. After every second tumble of winning symbols, one of the three pig symbols will turn wild and land on reels two - four to help you land even more winning combos.
Landing three moon bonus scatters in the base game will both trigger the Blowing Down the House Bonus Game, and activate 11 free spins.
Special Features and Bonuses
The game uses largely the same tumbles feature as the original slot, but with a few changes and additions, as follows.
Blowing Down the House Bonus Game
Here, a 1x win multiplier is added to the game and increases 1x after every win.
In the bonus game, Moon Bonus Scatters continue to be valuable too, as the multiplier applied increases the more you land, as follows:
3 scatters = 3 spins and 5x multiplier
6 scatters = 3 spins and 10x multiplier
6+ scatters = 1 spin for each scatter collected
There is also a ‘Bonus Buy’ option, whereby you can pay 90x the bet to gain entry into the Blow the House Down Game. This improves the RTP by 0.39%.
Design & Theme
The graphics have been spruced up from the original with everything looking that little bit crisper and cleaner. The design is also more dynamic with The action follows the story of the three little pigs, taking you from a first-round in the straw house to the wooden house and finally the house made of bricks. The wolf becomes more animated too -the bigger the win, the more the wolf licks his chops until, finally, he appears with sausages on his knife and fork!
Big Bad Wolf Megaways is bigger but certainly not ‘badder’ as every aspect has been subtly improved. Quickspin has done a fantastic job in seamlessly turning one of its most popular slots into a Megaways slot. One of the few criticisms levelled at the original was low win potential, which has been blown out of the water with Megaways wins as high as 30,000 times the stake. Big Bad Wolf Megaways won’t blow your house down, but it is pretty exciting!
