What is ESTCube-2 ?

After sending EstCube-1 to the Earth's orbit back in 2013, this team wants to do it again… but only better. In essence, the ESTCube-2 is a small, high-tech satellite with a powerful onboard computer built by the Estonian Student Satellite Foundation.

Alongside its main purpose of providing practical training in space technology development, ESTCube-2 aims to send Bitcoin into orbit, making it a unique and intergalactic experience for crypto players at Bitcasino.

ESTCube-2 goes beyond traditional CubeSat missions with its focus on innovative technologies. These technologies include:

Testing of plasma break technology in the Earth’s ionosphere to remove space debris.

Testing of two Earth observation cameras developed by the Tartu Observatory to measure vegetation index.
Testing of thin film anti-corrosion materials developed by a researcher from the University of Tartu.

What was ESTCube-1?

Before ESTCube-2 could achieve its success, there was a previous mission with the same concept. ESTCube-1, developed by undergraduate students at the University of Tartu, launched in May 2013 and revolutionized outer space technology. Building on this achievement, Bitcasino has partnered with the developers of ESTCube-1 for the launch of ESTCube-2, enabling the mission of sending Bitcoin to space and back.
