What is Andar Bahar


Andar Bahar is a card game with deep ties into Indian culture. It originated in the state of Karnataka - and has been around for more than 100 years. 

It's frequently played during Indian holidays and festivals like Diwali and Holi.

Depending on your region, Andar Bahar will likely be called something different. The game also goes by the names Maang Patta and Katti.

How to Play Andar Bahar

There are three elements to the game - the central card, which is called Joker, Andar and Bahar.

To win the game, you need to guess which side, Andar or Bahar, will match the Joker card. Here's how a game works:

  2. The dealer will then deal alternating cards to Andar and Bahar - the dealer will continue to deal cards until one position matches the Joker

Side Bets
